Brighton Hip Hop Festival is in crisis, with last minute funding cuts it is having decide which events to cut from it's extensive programme and which ones it can save. Considering the positivity generated by previous years festivals and the amount of people it reached, it seems considerably unjust that an already struggling sector of UK arts is being disregarded by public funding bodies.

even though I'm not fond of the idea of asking people for money, I don't want to see an event that brings creativity and fun into people's lives, go under. Good luck with your quest.

Been going ever since I lived in Brighton it is THE high light of my Summer such a big choice of events to see and be a part of hope this year tunrs out to be as good as last, good luck with getting the funding!!!

we need this to happen, im from brighton and last years was sick! street art, hiphop, beer, sunshine and love - all in 1 day! Who could ask for more!!
without this i aslo lose out, i've started sponcering acts such as Multifinish, Elemental and Buzz emcee!! so if your a fan then clothing will be on offer if it goes on!! -
